The Hillyard Approach...
by Karen Tuininga

Men
of coal, brick, and steel who left behind a seedbed of community.

1st To Die
by James Patterson
My favorite
books are the mystery/suspense fiction that will keep me up until 4:00
in the morning because I’m dying to know what happens next. James
Patterson gave me this in his 2001 New York Times Best Selling thriller
1st To Die (2003 TV movie).
Following
homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer of the San Francisco Police Department
in first person narrative, Patterson spins a tale of a maniac who begins
hunting newlywed couples, apparently unhappy with their wedded bliss.

business leaders and community members met
to take to unify East Hillyard under one
voice and form a synergistic relationship
between Hillyard and City Hall. They decided
to speak for the Hillyard Industrial Park
