Christmas Raffle Winners!

Winners for the Christmas Raffle was held Saturday, December 10th at 10:15 at Ma Barker's Cafe.

  • 1st Place: Beth Broadsword
    First Place gift list and photo

  • 2nd Place: Chris White
    Blanket, complete turkey dinner from Safeway, Market St.

  • 3rd Place: Carey, Hot Rod Tattoo
    Mikasa train figurine, Pie from Shari's, Franklin Park Mall

Bonnie Sherer (COPS NE) held the bucket while Ma Barker had the honor of drawing the winning tickets. Other people present included Sandy Martin (Historic Hillyard Partnership), Dave Griswold (Historic-Hillyard.com) and the cafe's patrons and staff.  A total of 674 tickets were sold in the 3-week time frame.  Other fund raisers included blinkers, sweatshirts, and photos with Santa.

After all purchases and expenses, the 2005 Holiday Celebration netted $588.57. This money will be held in an account at the Bank of America and will fund the 2006 Holiday Celebration.

Special thanks goes to the following people and businesses for their generous donations and time.  Without them the Holiday Celebration would not have been possible.
