Girls Day Out!

Merchants and restaurants in the Garland, Hillyard,
South Perry & East Spokane (Sprague) Business
Centers are catering to and pampering female
customers for a two day shopping event! These
Business Associations are proud to sponsor Spokane’s
third annual “Girls Day Out” on Friday, November 9,
3-6pm & Saturday, November 10, 10am-6pm.
“Girls Day Out” is a neighborhood shopping event
that takes place in four unique Spokane neighborhood
business centers. Women of all ages are invited to
sample the unique local flavor of each district.
These business centers offer a little bit of
everything - the usual and the unusual, the funky
and fun – as well as tremendous antiques and
antiquity expertise, new and used furniture,
clothing, gift, jewelry, unique book stores, along
with some of the best coffee houses, bakeries, and
local restaurants in the city.
The neighborhood business center merchants offer
great products and services and for these two days
they will offer a great experience too! Plan to
bring women of all ages to this year’s “Girls Day
Out!

Hillyard Festival Association
Meeting
Tuesday, October 23rd, 6:30pm, Northeast Community Center,
4001 N Cook St. The Hillyard Festival went
great, but it's never to early to start planning for
next year. We've elected new officers and
need to begin looking for sponsors/supporter for next year!
Come join us. All are welcome.
Hillyard Steering Committee
Fall General Meeting
Wednesday October
24th,
7:00pm, Shaw Middle School.
The Hillyard Steering Committee is responsible for
dispersing the funds given to Hillyard from the city
Community Development funds. The Fall General
Meeting is a good time to learn about what the
Steering Committee does. All are welcome to
attend.

Greater Hillyard Business Association
Meeting
Thursday,
October 25th, 6:30pm, Bluz at the Bend, Market &
Illinois. TEMPORARY DATE CHANGE. The
GHBA's membership is growing rapidly and so is it's
neighborhood involvement! The GHBA is also
leading the effort to bring you Girl's Day Out. Come find out this and much
more, we are growing and moving quickly! All

Mann Hall LRA Advisory Committee Meeting

The Mann Hall Local Redevelopment Authority Advisory
Committee will meet to discuss hiring a second
consultant to assist in evaluating the three
remaining Notices of Interest. The public is welcome
