Thank you for staying with us through some trying times at Historic-Hillyard.com. We believe we have worked our way through most if not all of our problems arising from our server upgrade.

We are telling you this to ask you to please come back. :) Summer is a busy time, but it is important to keep each other informed of community happenings and to let you community leaders, city leaders and more know how you feel by posting. This is our online community and it is up to us to keep it strong.

In case you’ve forgotten, you can get straight to the forum by going to: http://www.historic-hillyard.com/forum/default.asp or you can go to our front page, http://www.historic-hillyard.com and check out what the latest news and stories are in Hillyard and then click on the Community Forum link in the upper right hand corner.

If you have any questions, or are having any trouble logging on, please e-mail me at Moderator@historic-hillyard.com and I’ll get you taken care of.

Again, that you for sticking with us,

Thank you, Historic-Hillyard.com Staff.

P.S. We are always looking for people interested in showcasing their talent in writing, reporting, photography and/or advertising/fundraising.  If you would like to get involved, please contact Dave Griswold at 868-2900 or d1griz@comcast.net

Neighborhood Happenings...

Hillyard Kiwanis Meeting
Tuesday, May 23th, Noon, The Bluz at the Bend.  Hillyard Kiwanis has changed venues for it's meetings.  From now on, all Hillyard Kiwanis meetings will be held upstairs at the Bluz at the Bend at Market & Illinois.  We regret leaving the VFW, but the new venue offers more room for us to have big meetings and guest speakers.  Thank you to the Ladies Auxiliary for taking care us for all those weeks.

Hillyard Festival Association Meeting
Tuesday, May 23th, 6:30pm, Northeast Community Center.  The Hillyard Festival Association will be finalizing plans for the ChalkArtWalk coming on June 3rd.  We will also be discussing the Hillyard Gazette and August's Hillyard Festival.  Come join the fun, all are welcome.

Hillyard Steering Committee Meeting
