June 3rd, 2006, Hillyard. Even
though traveling to Hillyard have been made difficult by the
Haven St. repaving project, the usual antique hunters and blue
collar workers were joined in Hillyard today by artists and hot

Hillyard Steering Committee Meeting - EWU Grant
Audit Cmte.
Thursday, June 29th, 6:30pm, Northeast Community
Center, 4001 N Cook. Prior to our regular
HSC meeting, the EWU Grant Audit Committee will be
meeting to discuss the EWU audit, including the
recent communications from Dean Martin. All
HSC members are encouraged to attend.
Representation from EWU is unconfirmed, due to
possible schedule conflicts.
Hillyard Steering Committee Meeting.
Thursday, June 29th, 7:00pm, Northeast Community
Center, 4001 N Cook. The Hillyard Steering
Committee is responsible for dispersing the funds
given to Hillyard from the city Community
Development funds. All are welcome to attend.
Hillyard Festival Association Meeting Special Time
Wednesday, July 5th, 6:30pm, Northeast Community
Center, 4001 N Cook. The Hillyard Festival Association
will be discussing the final plans for the Hillyard
Festival on the first weekend of August, including
the Roving Gambler's Motorcycle Club Motorcycle Swap
and Show, Beer Garden and Children's games. We
will also discuss plans for the Hi-jinks parade.

Historic-Hillyard Partnership Meeting
Thursday, July 6th, 5:45pm, Ma Barker's Cafe,
5012 N Market. The Historic Hillyard
Partnership is the business association for
Hillyard. All are welcome to attend our meetings,
and we encourage Hillyard businesses to come and
take charge of their community's destiny. We are
working on the Downtown Hillyard Revitalization
Project, Girl's Night Out and many more. Please come
and join us. We would like to work on what you think
is important. |
