through downtown Hillyard.

Neighborhood Happenings...
Hillyard Festival Association
Meeting
Tuesday, July 31st, 6:30pm, Northeast Community Center,
4001 N Cook St. Last meeting before the Hillyard
Festival! We always need volunteers! The HFA
is Hillyard's Fun Committee! Our theme for
this year is Hillyard Heroes! You can be our
Hillyard Hero by helping out!
Hillyard Festival & Hi-Jinks Parade
Friday-Sunday,
August 3rd-5th, All Day, Sharpley-Harmon Park and
Downtown Historic Hillyard. The Hillyard Festival and Hi-jinks Parade is the
first weekend of August and we plan to continue the
improvements and add even more fun and merriment.
Kiwanis has grown their Midway Kids Games and added
a fireworks show! We'll be bringing back last
year's favorites Motorcycle Show and Shine and the
Beer Garden and much more!

Hillyard Neighborhood Council
Meeting
Wednesday, Aug 15th,
6:30pm, Northeast Community Center, 4001 N Cook St.
The Hillyard Neighborhood Council is charged with
communicating between the citizens and the City as
well as between organizations around Hillyard.
You are represented at the City by the Neighborhood
Council, please come and get involved, everyone is
welcome. Come early at 6:00pm to find out
what's going on at the Bemiss Neighborhood Council.
Greater Hillyard Business Association
Meeting
Wednesday, August 8th
& 22nd, 6:30pm, Bluz at the Bend, Market & Illionis. Join
us for the Greater Hillyard Business Association.
We've just submitted our Notice of Interest to the
Mann Hall Local Redevelopment Authority Advisory
Council, not what? Come find out this and much
more, we are growing and moving quickly! All
are welcome.
Hillyard Steering Committee
Meeting
Thursday, Aug 30th,
7:00pm, Northeast Community Center, 4001 N Cook St.
The Hillyard Steering Committee is responsible for
dispersing the funds given to Hillyard from the city
Community Development funds. All are welcome to
attend.
