Pictures with Santa and Children's Activities
at Hillyard's North Pole, 5009 N Market St.

Saturday Dec 2nd, Noon-6pm, Sunday Dec 3rd Noon-4pm
&
Saturday Dec 9th, Noon-6pm, Sunday Dec 10th Noon-4pm

Santa Claus will be taking pictures with good little boys and girls at Hillyard's North Pole for only $5.00.  Proceeds will benefit the Hillyard Holiday Festival and Hillyard Kiwanis.

Santa may become available for other dates, check back here for updates.

Children's Activities sponsored by the Northeast Youth Center and local churches will be entertaining the kiddies on these two days as well.

Event: Holiday Concert.  Hillyard Senior Center cordially invites the general public to their Annual Holiday Concert on Wednesday, December 13th from 1:00PM – 3:00PM in the “Assembly Room” at the Northeast Community Center. The concert will feature Director Jerry Unruh and other Friends and Members of the Hillyard Senior Center in a pleasant Christmas Music celebration. Admission is $3.00.  Hillyard Senior Center will also be collecting a can of food to donate to a needy senior at Christmas!

Historic Hillyard's Business Core Decoration Contest
Another Hillyard Tradition.

Downtown Hillyard will once again be ablaze with twinkling lights and garlands of green & red and metallic foils.

The businesses in the business core will be competing for the honor of holding the "Best Decorations" trophy for the coming year.

During the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, the decorations will be judged by some special guests, after which the trophy will be presented.

Hillyard Square Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
In the square at Queen and Market.

The Hillyard Rotary Club is generously donating a community Christmas tree to be placed in the Hillyard Square (Queen & Market, next to the Alaskan) and be decorated by the Hillyard Holiday Festival.

The lights will be lit as part of the official kickoff weekend of the Festival at Sundown on December 2nd.  A reception will follow at the Hillyard North Pole (5009 N Market St.), including refreshments provided by various Hillyard groups.

Please come and celebrate the holidays with your neighbors!  All are welcome.
